Comprised of five historic buildings, the Kennebunkport Historical Society's History Center allows people to delve into the town's history through a series of exhibits. Numerous displays are found inside the Pasco Exhibit Center, such as memorabilia, artifacts and pictures, or through the restored Town House School, Clark's Shipwright's Office, Old Jail Cells and the Blacksmith Shop, each examples of days gone by. Since 1853, The Nott House in Kennebunkport has stood as a landmark in the town. Managed by the Kennebunkport Historical Society, this house welcoming visitors to virtually step back in time as they admire the furnishings, wallpaper, artifacts and carets found inside the house.
