Originally built in 1925, the Phyllis A is being restored and welcomes people to see the progress and tour the Maritime Heritage Association's collection of boat building tools, photos and shipyard artifacts. This museum is open mid-May through mid-October.
Founded in 1939 to save a trolley, The Seashore Trolley Museum is now the oldest and largest electric railway meseum in the world. With over 250 trolleys and transit cars, guests can see and ride a national collection of American streetcars. Open weekends.
Comprised of five historic buildings, the Kennebunkport Historical Society's History Center allows people to delve into the town's history through a series of exhibits. Numerous displays are found inside the Pasco Exhibit Center, such as memorabilia, artifacts and pictures, or through the restored Town House School, Clark's Shipwright's Office, Old Jail Cells and the Blacksmith Shop, each examples of days gone by. Open year-round.
